Macit Haldız was born in 1959 in Trabzon’s Arsin province as the 7th child of Veli And Emine. He is married and has four children. He entered in trade with construction sector.

Macit Haldız is stil the chairman of the management board of 11 companies and Haldız Group which is active in 6 sectors (Construction, Energy, Real Estate, Automotive, Insurance, Media).
